I turned away for ONE minute. He was fully dressed, eating his dinner. When I turned back around, he was doing this.....and had pooped in the yard. "I puppy Dog, mommy!"

School Blues

It's the first week of second grade, and William had a rough morning...

William sobbing this morning because.....

1. The sun isn't coming up (it's very cloudy).

2. His legs aren't "pumping up"

3. I am mean for taking him to school if his legs aren't pumped up because he won't win any races on the playground.

I am THE WORST.

William's World:New Playground Game

The posts have been rare lately as life has gotten busier. I'm going to try to be better! Here's William's latest idea for playground time:

"Ok Mom, we have these blasters. But instead of missiles, they shoot allergy shots. And then if you get an allergy shot you fall down. But you don't die because there are also teleporters."

Thanksgiving/Seattle Trip

We spent a low key Thanksgiving at home....eating out big meal at the base dining facility after Ryan's shift serving the troops. We left the next day (in an ice storm) for Seattle. Traveling with little ones is never easy, but we were troopers! We spent a great week with Nana and Grandpa Jerry. Here's some highlights...

William's World:Poor King David

Poor William has had a rough week. After an ER visit, an IV, a pediatrician visit, and an abdominal X-ray, he was diagnosed with severe constipation. 2 home enemas took care of the issue, but were understandably traumatic.

After the drama had passed, we were doing a nightly devotional. This picture was on the page...

William said immediately...."I didn't know that King David has to get an enema too."
